Maidenhead is a market town in Berkshire on the Thames, offering plenty to see and do. Take a picturesque walk along the river to Boulter’s Lock, then cross the bridge to the pretty Ray Mills Island where you’ll find a park, café, playground and guinea pig pen to keep young ones entertained. The Thames Path, a national walking trail, also connects Maidenhead to the nearby villages of Cliveden and Cookham, or you can leave your walking shoes at your serviced apartment in favour of a boat trip to nearby Windsor. Award-winning Norden Farm Centre for the Arts makes for a great day out for all the family, with an art gallery, studio theatre, main auditorium for film and live performance, café, Georgian farmhouse and 18th-century barn onsite.
